"Why did I decide to offer Menopause Coaching?" I hear you ask.

So pushing myself out of my comfort zone (and my technical know-how) and doing my first ever blog. Wow! Didn’t see that coming - hope you enjoy it.

I didn't have the easiest of menopause myself and if I knew then, what I know now, I would have made very different choices. And had very different conversations leading to a much better transition. For instance, talking to my GP about HRT, she asked about family history. I used the words mother, breast cancer and death - end of conversation! No questions about what sort of cancer, what the effect on the risks to my health if I opted for HRT or how such risks could be mitigated. Just an end to the conversation, no HRT and no other alternatives being even discussed.

Knowing what I know now, I would have pushed back, explored more and certainly asked more questions. My sincere hope is that the menopause coaching I am offering will give women the information to pursue the right choices for them and correct a lot of misinformation that is out there. Information I didn’t have! I want other women to be able to have the best menopause possible, to regard menopause as an opportunity rather than a challenge and to come out the other side equipped to deal with life post-menopause with an array of strategies at their fingertips to stay healthy, happy and strong.

I am passionate about helping every woman to have an empowering experience that is in line with their own individual health and firness goals (whatever they may be), to feel in control of their bodies and to look dammed good whilst doing it.

Self-care isn't something that comes naturally to me (or many women for that matter) but it is something I am much better at since doing my menopause coaching course and appreciating the importance of taking care of myself post-menopause. I feel so much better following a few simple changes from the course and am really looking forward to sharing all this infomation with you.

Does this make sense? Interested in learning more, then book onto one of my sessions or ping me a message. I'd love to help you navigate your menopause. Thanks for reading and hope to see you soon.
